Fall Fashion- Two Takes on Fall Fits

Chloe Mendoza, Co-Editor in Chief

Modern yet Vintage: This issue’s featured style hunter is the one and only Adamaris Alarcon. In this picture, Ada gives her own modern take on a vintage/grunge look that would be great for the fall-band tees.  Here she is rocking a black “Guns and Roses” t-shirt accented with blue and purple detailing. She compliments the colors in her top by also styling some matching hair clips- which happen to be all the rage at the moment. She is also wearing grey mom jeans that cuff at the ankles so that she can show off her white kicks, a pair of white Fila Disruptor II’s. To top this look off, Ada dons a single lace black choker with a pearl as the main attraction. If you’re feeling inspired, a little 90’s, or if you’re listening to “Smells Like Teen Spirit,”  then take some notes! Band tees will always look rad no matter who wears them.

Neutral Hues: For my own take on fall fashion I chose to go with a leafy, brown color scheme to match the oncoming season. Here, I’m wearing a sheer, long-sleeved shirt with a leafy pattern over a lighter, more nude tank top. During the fall when the weather just can’t seem to make up it’s mind, sheer shirts are my BFF! I tied it in the front to give the shirt a shorter appearance without actually cropping it. Tying shirts can always give your outfit a little extra something! For pants I chose a chocolate brown jean and paired it with a black belt- not Gucci I’m afraid. To finish my outfit off, I went with a dark brown platform boot. Just a tip: color schemes always make you seem like you know what you’re doing (even if you really don’t) and can always make your outfits stand out!
