Cake Pops 

Have you ever made cake pops? I have and they’re so delicious! Cake pops are a wonderful idea and it’s fun! It’s a great idea to have for dessert when family is over for Thanksgiving. 

Ingredients:

-cake pop sticks (depending on how many you’re making)

-small cookie scoop 

-white sprinkles 

-deep narrow cup 

-styrofoam

-1 box of white cake mix

-2 tablespoons of vanilla frosting 

-1 bag of candy melts

 

Instructions: 

-Bake the cake according to the package.

-Cut the cake into 4 pieces when it’s cool and peel away the browned outside layer of the cake. After, crumble the pieces in a large bowl with your hands.

-Add 2 tbsp of frosting to the crumbled cake and mix with a spoon. 

-Shape the cake into balls 

-Melt the candy melts for about 20 seconds.

-Dip the tips of each cake pop stick init the melted candy. Place the balls on the stick and apply the candy melts on them and place them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

-After waiting, sprinkle the pop right away so it sticks.

-Lastly stick the cake pops on a styrofoam ball so they stick.
