Josh Klein is the new Tutorial teacher here at Selma High School. Though it is his first year at the high school, he has been working in the district for the past 22 years. He has worked at sites such as Jackson Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Abraham Lincoln Middle School, and Heartland. He attended Fresno State and North Carolina University for college.
“I enjoy helping people and I thought teaching would be a great way to help people reach their goals,” he said when asked why he chose teaching. “Just for all my students to get their credits and get to graduation.” is Klein’s key plan for the school year.
Some things that he does in his free time is coach his four kids’ sports teams. He also likes fishing and spending time with his family. Interestingly enough, his wife, Mrs. Klein, had previously worked here at Selma High for the past 20 years.
Klein said his experience so far here at Selma High has been excellent.
“Students are great and staff are welcoming,” he said. “The best part about working at shs has been getting to know the new students”
“Go Bears!” he added lastly.
