Celeste Mariscal is a junior at Selma High, and is a first time clarion student. She is our WONDERFUL Layout Editor as well as a reporter. Celeste is also on the SHS soccer team!
This is sophomore Nico Colado's first year in Clarion, and he is currently a reporter. Alongside Clarion, Nico is a varsity football player. In his free time, Nico likes to listen to music!

Mr. Castle is in his 31th year as an English teacher at Selma High, his 29th as Journalism Adviser. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, he worked in advertising in the Bay Area before entering the teaching field....

Jorge Guzman is senior , and first time Clarion student. Alongside being a Clarion reporter, he is also a photo editor. Interestingly, Jorge won the district Spelling Bee in 4th grade!
Ireri Mares is a Selma High senior. This is her first year in Clarion, and she is a reporter as well as photo editor. Aside from Clarion, Ireri is a passionate wrestler.
Victoria Juarez is a senior and Clarion veteran. Currently in her second year, Victoria is the Clarion's Editorial Editor. Interestingly she has been in band since the 5th grade.
