A Flavor That’ll Leave you Wanting “S’more”

Hi everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing Pelicans’ new “S’mores” themed shaved ice, topped with whipped cream and Hershey syrup chocolate.
My initial reaction to chocolate on shaved ice was uncertain, but I gave it a fair shot and I’m happy I did because it was delicious! The Graham cracker syrup stands out because it’s the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing. I was instantly filled with nostalgic feelings of being around a campfire, however, my one complaint is that once the ice starts to melt, the chocolate does get watery, which isn’t ideal. The initial bites are like a summertime dream, but after a while, it feels like a camping trip that stretches on too long, and you’re ready to go home.
Overall, I’d give it a 6.5/10 because it’s worth a try and I love the creativity behind it.
A Melon Dreams in a Snow Cone

Well…. umm I guess we’re back with the Pelicans Review. Not saying I don’t like snow cones. I personally like them better than ice cream, but this basically means summer is around the corner and I hate the heat. Anyways, for our first Pelicans review of the year, I’ve decided to try their new Melon Cucumber flavor.
To begin with, the flavoring was actually so good, it kind of reminded me of the cucumber agua fresca. It’s just so refreshing, I literally wouldn’t mind eating this when it’s 1000 degrees and the floor is melting my chanclas. The soft texture of the ice just pulls everything together.
Since I’m always comparing flavors to some type of thing or place, I would say this is like walking on the beach with Harry Styles and my engagement ring on my left hand. (I’m JOKING…. Maybe.) Something about this flavor is so nostalgic but yet new. I would personally give this a 8/10, if you are looking for something that is not too sweet yet reminds you of the beach. This is the perfect flavor for you!
