Do you ever wonder how many germs are on our dirty, nasty hands? I actually think about this every single day.
Thinking about the crazy idea of the 5-second rule that people follow makes me go insane. I always think about all the things that have passed through the sidewalk. Imagine the filthy shoes that walk on that sidewalk, or even a dog needing to do their business on that same exact sidewalk. We just never know what has touched everything.
Germs are everywhere, literally everywhere.
After a long day at school being surrounded by germs, all I want to do is go home and lay in bed. I get home but wait, I can’t lay in bed just yet. I need to change my clothes first. No way I am going to sit on my bed with my “outside” clothes on. Can you imagine all the seats your clothes have touched and sat on? I would rather stand than lay in my bed with my dirty clothes. My whole day revolves around me being a germaphobe. This goes from small things like repeatedly washing my hands to overthinking how much germs are really in one place.
I think many people may not care too much about germs but I think everyone should. Germs are just so dirty and always getting us sick.
Growing up, I have always gotten sick easily. I think this has also affected me into hating germs and always wanting to be clean.
My family and many others may think I am crazy, but I simply see it as taking precautions.
