In this issue, we introduce The Clarion’s very own Poetry Corner, a spot for the creative minds of our writers to submit notebook entries, drabbles of writing on their notes app, or anything creatively expressed in a different style of writing.
her rose petal fingertips burn
at the flame buried within.
she still sees the light past
my eyes deeply lost color.
i love her, despite her naïveté.
she loves me despite my burdens,
as she watches me continue
to lie to myself and to her
about the sanctity of our love.

This was very well done, a lot to think about. The poetry corner is a great addition to the paper.
