Baskin Robbins Review: Pumpkin Cheesecake

Brandi Aguilera and Anna Armstrong

For the month of September, the flavor of the month was Pumpkin Cheesecake. With a mixture of pumpkin and cheesecake flavor, I, Brandi, was excited to taste the pumpkin part of it. The cheesecake part…not so much, considering I am lactose-intolerant. Being a huge fan of pumpkin, of course I loved the first taste. Starting off smooth and creamy, reminding me of an actual pumpkin pie or a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. The first taste was like love at first sight. It made me want to keep eating more and more, but in my opinion, the aftertaste of the cheesecake flavor was too much for me. Now, I’ve always been the type of person to have a sweet-tooth for these kinds of things, but I found the cheesecake taste overbearing. Despite the fact that I didn’t really appreciate the cheesecake part of it, this flavor is definitely recommended for those who love both pumpkin and cheesecake. 8/10. This treat is perfect for the fall season!

Hey Guys! Anna, here. As basic as it sounds, I love anything pumpkin flavored…well, almost anything. I definitely wouldn’t say I loved the Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream we had. I didn’t hate it either, though. If you love pumpkin, then you’ll love the initial taste of the ice cream like I did. However, soon after the cheesecake overpowered the pumpkin and was a little less than satisfactory. The cheesecake made it have a weird texture that was almost too fluffy to be ice cream. I enjoyed the flavor, but the texture made it a mediocre scoop of ice cream. If you want to get a little taste of fall, you should definitely try this ice cream, but I don’t think I’ll have it again. I rate Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream a 6.5/10.
